Maxillofacial Prosthetics
This young patient was operated for removal of oral cancer.
He had half his upper jaw and teeth removed. He was left with an oronasal communication which inhibited him from swallowing and speaking properly.
A digital impression was taken using the TRIOS scanner and the patient was restored back to normal with a cad/cam obturator prosthesis.
